The incredible weekend of food and drink known as Feast is almost upon us! Feast, sponsored by Bon Appétit, is a celebration of culinary delight showcasing some of the finest food and beverage Oregon has to offer. Feast also brings awareness, and raises much needed funds by donating all net proceeds towards ending childhood hunger in Oregon and around the country. In it's first two years, Feast has raised over $99,000 for both No Kid Hungry, and Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon. Kudos to the founders Mike Thelin and Carrie Welch for helping ensure our future generations are fed.
Despite most of the hands-on classes being sold out, there is still room available at most of the signature events. One of the events we are most looking forward to this year is the Widmer Brother’s Brewing Sandwich Invitational presented by Dave’s Killer Bread. How could you not love the search for the ultimate sandwich!
