Rare Beer Charity Auction For New Avenues For Youth


Local #pdxbeergeek Jeremy Herrig sits on the Ambassador Board for New Avenues for Youth, a local non-profit whose mission is to empower homeless youth to exit street life.  Together they have organized an incredible event to raise money for a worthy cause. 100% of the proceeds go to New Avenues. So if you or anyone you know would like to donate any bottles or other items for the VIP event, please feel free to contact them directly.  More info on the event website.  

What: Brews for New Avenues
Live and Silent Beer Auction, VIP experience, Music, Food

When: Saturday, October 13, 2012 (2-10p)

Where: The Green Dragon (including the street)

Who: New Avenues for Youth supporters & beer enthusiasts (100 VIP tickets)

Details: $50 cover charge for VIP event: 2-5p, includes specialty beer not available GA event, Steve’s Cheeses, Olympic Provisions, & access to silent auction

$10 cover charge for general public (5-10p) to include glass, one free beer, raffle ticket, live music, & access to live auction

Ben & Jerry’s root beer & beer floats (free for Designated Drivers)
Food carts – Koi Fusion, Potato Champion, Pyro Pizza
Raffle during GA event of beer swag, beer, etc.
Special kegs tapped on the hour throughout GA event

  1. Maybe our office can use the beer oak keg. I'd love to toss out our water dispenser for it. Since we're moving with the aid of office relocation sydney, we'll have more room for oddities.
