I'm not even going to pretend on being a pro when it comes to food and beer pairings, that's why I leave it to the experts. I was fortunate enough to be invited to a meeting with the crew of Eastburn and the NW Regional Sales Manager for Firestone Walker, Travis Widdifield, to get an idea of what goes into planning one of these events.
It was interesting listening to Travis tell the story behind each beer, then listen to the Eastburn staff discuss what would pair well with each style. Everything seemed to lead back to jerked chicken, but I can assure you this will not be the case.
