What to do on a warm spring day, with no kids to keep alive? Take a road trip of course! I found myself heading south to Corvallis to check out
Flat Tail Brewing. Ever since falling in love with the English IPA from the Seriously Low Budget Series I've been wanting to try more of their offerings.

Everything here was a win, certainly worth the trip. Friendly service, and great hospitality. Some real stand outs from the tasting were the Big Fin Baltic porter, and the Wild Blonde. The Wild Blonde is available now in the Low Budget series. Grab a bottle while you can, and enjoy this wonderful sour, a great introduction to the style.
If you would like to learn more, and sample some of their fine offerings, I suggest you save the date. Thursday April 26th from 6-8pm.
The Guild Public House along with #pdxbeergeeks are hosting a "Meet the Brewers" event. Stop in and show Flat Tail some #pdxbeergeeks love. Hope to see you there!
