I was fortunate to meet Sean the other night at The Commons Brewery (formerly Beetje) opening. For those who don't know, Sean is the brewer for The Commons.  It's a great location and addition to the Portland beer scene. I know several of us are excited to see what The Commons has in store for the future...

Favorite Beer Haunt: Too many great choices/depends on what part of town I’m in.

What was the first craft brew you ever tried? What did you think? Black Butte Porter, I was blown away that it had so much flavor.

Do you homebrew? If yes, favorite homebrew to date: Yes, a German Pils.

How’d you hear about the pdxbeergeeks? Through friends

What does being a beer geek mean to you? Seeking out and enjoying quality and craftsmanship

If you could change one thing about beer culture in the US, what would it be?  Mass consumption

What do you love about Portland’s Craft Beer scene? Educated consumers demanding consistent quality
