What was the first craft brew you ever tried? What did you think? Magic Hat #9. I thought it was awesome.
Do you homebrew? If yes, favorite homebrew to date: I do. Extract, of course. Recently did an oak aged English style IPA that I am quite fond of.

What does being a beer geek mean to you? Passion!
If you could change one thing about beer culture in the US, what would it be? It would be great if more places had a beer culture like Portland. I wouldn’t change a thing about this place (Portland) in that respect.
What do you love about Portland’s Craft Beer scene? The passion, knowledge and creativity. Where else can you go to a beer fest nearly every week for most of the year?
